2 Player on Fifa 09 stopped working after making transfers
After the transfer window opened in rela life, I decided to update the teams to the major European transfers. I had done this before but with only a few, perhaps 5, transfers, and multiplayer. It was after making numerous transfers that the multiplayer option on Fifa stopped working. The game loads up and kicks off, then a few seconds later it just freezes up. I have signed in on other profiles and the multiplayer option works fine. Is it a case of a simple fix or just not making the transfers?

Hi. To edit your player you go to the main menu and then settings.then
you go on to team management and pick a player by pressing (a). Then
keep the button (c) pressed for 5 seconds and a editing chart will come
up and you can make everything 99.
DUDE- I have played 09 on xbox 360 through 4 seasons three different times with liverpool and each time the same thing happens. it happened to me a 4th time last night. so today i came up with the resolve to solve it. AND I DID!!! basically, if you conduct contract negotiations after the league season is over but you are still playing UEFA/ECC games it will 100% crash your game once you get into the next season once the trade season begins. If this happens it will corrupt your save file permanently destroying the future integrity of the game, like a digital Russian Roulette. To be sure this doesnt happen to your team's save file, keep a back up file safe that you won't adjust right before the season ends. at the end of the season a contract negotiation screen comes up. you need to make sure that when you go to the contract negotiation screen everyone listed on your team who has less than 12 months left on their contract is listed with "the computers" offer to be resigned, therefore extending their own contract based on their terms. you will see all sorts of wild offers, especially if you have been under paying your players. As per the Bosman ruling these guys are treated as free agents during the transfer window, so the game is modeling REAL life. However, if you sign them after the season is over but while you are still playing euro competitions then this will corrupt the save file for free agents. This crashes the game, maybe perhaps because some other team is trying to sign that "Bosman ruling" player on the computers own terms, but he improperly still belongs to your club for less than 12 months. WOOOOOT gonna play another 4 seasons. pass this on. Keep backup saved files at the mid point between transfer windows and right before the regular season games end based on your schedule. ENJOY!!!
Ok when you hook it up and it says MTP just push and hold the Play pause key till it says Usb then it should recognize it .....
now mine recognizes it on both usb and mtp i have win xp pro ...
If you do this and it doesnt work
If you are using Windows XP or Vista, make sure that the player is in the Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) mode. This can be done by pressing the M button. This button is located on the top of your mp3 player. Open Windows Media Player 10 or 11 and follow the directions for transferring (synchronizing) music. If you have Windows Media Player 9 on your XP machine, upgrade to Windows Media Player 10 or 11. This can be done by visiting www.windowsmediaplayer.com. If you are using Windows 98SE,Windows ME, or Windows 2000, you will only be able to transfer music using the USB transfer mode. Open Windows Media Player 9, and follow the directions for transferring (synchronizing) music. If you have version 9 on Windows 98SE or Windows ME, you will need to visit the Download Center for updated drivers.
It can also be caused by transferring DRM (Digital Rights Management)
encoded media files via the drag and drop method. It is recommended that
you use the drag and drop method to transfer audio files that are not encoded
with DRM. If in doubt, use either Creative MediaSource Organizer or Windows
Media Player to transfer your files.
To resolve this difficulty, we recommend that you format the player and
transfer the content again. You can also download and install the latest
firmware, and select the Format Data Area option during firmware update.
To format a MuVo player, connect it to a USB port on your PC. Open the Windows
Explorer, and locate the Removable Drive listing and right
click on it. Select Format, and choose FAT instead of FAT32 or NTFS. After
the formatting is complete, make sure that you stop your player before disconnecting
it from your PC (see above)
To update or reload the firmware for a MuVo player, select the model of
your player from below. http://22.214.171.124/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=702,E=0000000000295070241,K=561,Sxi=1,Kb=ww_english_add,VARSET=ws:http://us.creative.com/,Case=obj(4656),Kb=ww_english_add
