I am in Ontario and I cannot get an address in for Amherst Buffalo NY can't get it to change to USA

  • Press WHERE TO
  • Press ADDRESS
At the top of the screen you'll see the country you're in i.e. Canada. At the bottom you'll see CHANGE COUNTRY. Press CHANGE COUNTRY and select USA. You should then be able to enter the USA address.

If that does not work check that you have a map of the USA on the satnav. Press TOOLS, SETTINGS, MAPS. At the bottom of the screen press MAP INFO and it will show you the maps you have. If the USA is there but not ticked press it to tick it and then it should work. If it does not show the USA then it's not on the satnav. I hope this solves your problem.

Can I ask some quick question to tackle the problem.

Where you are presently (location)? Is it away from the network area?

Is the Ipaq under warranty still?

How to pair a iPAQ 214 with an external GPS receiver?

It's pretty easy.
In your iPAQ 214 go on SETTINGS > GPS > and make sure the INCOMING CONNECTIONS are on CHANNEL 6, and for the OUTGOING CONNECTIONS are on CHANNEL 5.
Start the external GPS device, start your Bluetooth connection on your iPAQ and you're ready to go.

If I put a street name in, like Ave F or a rural address, like FM 345, my gps says "address not found". Any help would be appreciated.

Some GPS require the letter of the street first. Also most roads, even those with route numbers have a name.

I have to connect 2 wires (red and black) to the wiring of my motorcycle to use the motorcycle power to feed my zumo 500 sat nav. I don't have any wiring diagrams for my bike. Can anyone point me in the...

1. Most public librarys carry a series of books by "Chilton" or "Hayes" which are basically illustrated guides to rebuilding every make and model of non-commercial vehicle.

2. The black can most likely be connected to the negative terminal of the battery.

3. The red is typically connected to the "accessory" position of the ignition switch. Often, you can simply crimp a connector on the red wire, and insert it into one of the spare fuse locations in the fuse panel.
