Switching out of FM Radio

I might just be missing something since I can't find the directions, but once you're in FM Radio mode, how do you switch back out of it? I've tried several ways and none of them work.

Thanks

I'm looking for the manual for a SoundLogic XT AWS-12/2970R Bluetooth splash proof speaker with FM radio. Specifically, I need the instructions for programming stations into the FM radio receiver.

I didn't see a manual online in searches.

It might be able to discover something from questions on the web sites sellling it, or ask your specific question and see if it is answered.

Example:

If you push the middle button it will switch from Bluetooth mode to radio. The first time I used mine it immediately searched through all the radio stations it could detect and store that information. Kind of like when you plug in a new TV. Once that scan is done it will play the lowest numbered station, you then use the buttons on the left or right to advance to the station you want. Don't press middle button again or it will go to Bluetooth. Good Luck

Turn on the device with the power button and then press and hold the "play/pause" button down until you hear the radio. Press and hold the back and forward button to control the volume and press the back and forward button with a quick release to switch the radio channels.

Hold down the play/pause button until the radio turns on. First time you use it, it takes a couple of minutes to program the channels then use arrows keys to go through the programmed channels.

My radio reception is intermittent

Check your antenna and antenna cable. Many devices has switching power supplies with can interfere with the receiver like a computer, laptop, dect home phone, printers, fax etc. Also could be something outside like rf tower. you may try other receiver/fm tuner to see if it has the same recption problems. If you find that your receiver is no good you need to replace internal FM tuner.

How do I preset the tuner for radio stations. I've never had a problem doing this with any other stereo. But what I think should work isn't!

Not very specific. Do you have the manual?

The following is from a VSX-03TXH manual. It ain't pretty but it may help.

I'm posting it in multiple parts due to space contraints.

Chapter 6:

Using the tuner

Listening to the radio

The following steps show you how to tune in to FM and

AM radio broadcasts using the automatic (search) and

manual (step) tuning functions. If you already know the

frequency of the station you want, see Tuning directly to a

station below. Once you are tuned to a station you can

memorize the frequency for recall later-see Saving

station presets below for more on how to do this.

1 Press the FM/AM button to select the tuner.

2 Use the FM/AM button to change the band (FM or

AM), if necessary.

Each press switches the band between FM and AM.

3 Tune to a station.

There are three ways to do this:

Automatic tuning

To search for stations in the currently selected band,

press and hold TUNE ?©/?? for about a second. The

receiver will start searching for the next station,

stopping when it has found one. Repeat to search for

other stations.

Manual tuning

To change the frequency one step at a time, press

TUNE ?©/??.

High speed tuning

Press and hold TUNE ?©/?? for high speed tuning.

Release the button at the frequency you want.

Improving FM stereo sound

If the TUNED or STEREO indicators don't light when

tuning to an FM station because the signal is weak, press

the MPX button to switch the receiver into mono

reception mode. This should improve the sound quality

and allow you to enjoy the broadcast.

Using Neural THX

This feature uses Neural Surround™, THX® technology to

achieve optimal surround sound from FM radio.

• While listening to FM radio, press AUTO/DIRECT for
Neural THX listening.

How do i find the FM frequency for a Connex CX-4300-300 CB radio?

FM is just a form of modulation, not an actual frequency. The frequency doesn't change between any of the modes (LSB, USB, AM, FM, CW).

For example, if you are on channel 19 (27.185MHz) on AM (Amplitude Modulation,) switching to FM (Frequency Modulation) mode you would still be at 27.185MHz, but using a different form of modulation.

Can't get ATS to function per instruction manual

You probably have to set the scan function to ATS mode by turning the radio off, pressing and holding the F6 button for 2 seconds, then releasing, then quickly pressing and releasing the F6 button to step through the 3 scan modes. The display will show which mode is currently selected.
