Xerox 7242 error 010-328 i have a xerox workcenter 7242, it is giving me error code 010-328. how can i fix this error please

That error points to a fuser problem. Replace the fuser and see if that works for you. If not then you need some add'l parts and a service tech to install and repair it for you. Hope this helps.

How do I clean the transfer belt

The transfer belt has it's only cleaning unit, part number 604K07062. Before printing if you see toner on the transfer belt you can clean it off with a lint free cloth or toner rag, but if it comes back you'll need to replace the belt cleaner.

My printer can`t print and shows me to 'Check the transfer belt'

Your printer monitors the life of your transfer belt. When the transfer belt reaches the end of its

life, the printer displays

80 Belt Exhausted. This message indicates it is time for you to

replace the transfer belt. For best print quality, make sure you replace the transfer belt when

the printer displays

80 Belt Life Warning.

Press

Go to clear the message. The Supplies message appears on the second line of the

display to remind you that supplies need attention. You can open the Supplies Menu to see

80 Belt Exhausted

or 80 Belt Life Warning messages.

The printer continues to display the

Supplies message until you replace the transfer belt. To

replace the transfer belt, use the following steps or the instruction sheet supplied with the
transfer belt.

I have a Xerox Phaser 6110 laser printer. When I try to print, I get Transfer Belt Error. When I go into the Troubleshooting Guide, it states that I get an Internal System Error. I have already tried to...

The "Transfer Belt" error shows up after the printer has printed 60,000 pages. At which time the belt needs to be replaced.

You can try resetting the count, which may clear the message:

1. Enter Service Mode by pressing [MENU] [#] [1] [9] [3] [4]2.
If you do not see the Tech Mode menu press the menu button again. (You need to enter the key sequence quickly.)
3. Select Tech Menu
4. Select DataSetup
5. Arrow to Clear Counts and press Enter6. Enter Password 19347. Arrow to Transfer Belt and press Enter.
The display will show Clearing Counts and then return you to the Tech Menu. Press exit several times to exit the Tech Menu and then power cycle the printer.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Xerox phaser 6303 printer shows "replace transfer unit" what does it mean,.

The transfer unit is the part of the printer which transfers the image created by the imaging drums onto the paper. After a certain amount of use it has to be replaced to maintain print quality. At that time, the printer is programmed to show the message you have received.

I need to know if the Transfer Belt Unit for the XEROX 7232 (newer model) PN 064K92790/1 can be used in the 7132 (older model) instead of the # 064K92402/4. I have one and would really not have to purchase...

What you have is a 7232 IBT belt assembly. The internal workings of the assembly work with the 7232 and 7242, but not the 7132 - they are different model series.

XEROX PHASER 6110 MFP REPLACE TRANSFER BELT MESSAGE

If you have replaced the Image Transfer Belt, and the printer still does not work, you will need to reset the counter. Xerox would not tell me how to do it, so I did some investigating.

1. Enter Service Mode by pressing [MENU] [#] [1] [9] [3] [4]
2. If you do not see the Tech Mode menu press the menu button again. (You need to enter the key sequence quickly.)
3. Select Tech Menu
4. Select DataSetup
5. Arrow to Clear Counts and press Enter
6. Enter Password 1934
7. Arrow to Transfer Belt and press Enter.

The display will show Clearing Counts and then return you to the Tech Menu. Press exit several times to exit the Tech Menu and then power cycle the printer.
