Error message F22

HI. This error occurs if the touch pad/LED assembly is not able to transmit/receive data to/from the central control unit (CCU).

Possible Causes / Procedure

1. Check the touch pad/LED assembly by selecting different cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to confirm the touch pad/LED is responding.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the touch pad/LED assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU).

Replace failed component.(Which will be the actual CCU, if the wirineing harness is ok, and connected properly)

I ave install a new a/c and heating unit kit .all wiring seems okey but the unit still does not turn on. I THERE an electrical schematic not wirin only that i can refer to.

1- Check the thermostat wires for good contact---with a volt meter check that you are getting power to the transformer in the indoor unit/air handler 120v in an 24v out to the control board
2- In the T-stat R to G calls the indoor fan on, R to Y calls the outdoor contactor to start the compressor and fan
3- Next check for power to the outdoor unit from the disconnect to the contact relay---240v (be very aware this can electricute you causing death)
4- With the unit calling for AC on you could use a wooden dowl to push the conntact relay in to see if the unit starts.
Note: call an HVAC Technician if you are confident you can perform these task's or Death may result!

I have an Alpine IVA-D900 got from a garage sale

well first the screen itself is just that.. A screen. They should have sold you the brain that goes with it.. That is where everything plugs into such as the 2 screen outputs and the amp outputs it also has a A-i net plug.. From experience the brain is pricey.. That is if you can still get it from alpine. I suggest Ebay to see if someone wants to sell the brain to that screen. Hopefully you didnt pay much for it. My guess is $600 for the brain

Wiring a thermostat

Comm should be the common terminal/wire
Satisfied means that the unit is no longer calling for heat because the thermostats setting has been "satisfied" and has shut the unit off until the room is cooler and it is then "damanding" operation. This should bring the unit on. (when the thermostat is in "demand")
