Question about Dryers
I have basically been through all the troubleshooting and diagnostic modes...the dryer comes on...the exhaust is working fine...it is heating...diagonostics all checked out ok...it is getting good voltage...I'm at a loss..
Too much stress on the motor might cause the dryer motor to stop for a minute and then start up again. Try turning the drum manually; if it's extremely hard to turn, that may be the source of your problem. I was able to fix this on my GE Profile by removing the front panel and putting more slack in the felt strip. This allowed the drum to turn more freely and I have had no "mid-cycle pauses" ever since.
