SOURCE: Strike open light flashes and gate opens

The loose connection may be true, but i would first start out checking the track and rollers for any obstructions that could stop the gate from closing, if the gate can be closed smoothly by hand than check the ERD potentiometer on the circuit board. also peel of the blue circle sticker for the alarm potentiometer and adjust as necessary

SOURCE: i have an elite robo swing r900 gate opener. gate

first check you battery and make sure it is putting out 12v dc then if you have a solar power system check the red and black wire comming from the panel and make sure it is putting out 24volts. if you panel is not putting out the volts it caused your battery to die so replace your panel and battery and all should work fine. if your using a trickel charger do the same check power its putting out and make sure its correct and also check the 120v ac comming in to the charger. Follow the steps it deffinatly sounds like a power issue.

SOURCE: My Elite SL3000 sliding gate is not responding to

Hi, Thanks for posting your Question.

When it comes to automatic usage of equipment or gadget that work with remotes sensors..It always malfunctions when water enters into it's electrical area..

Issues like this are have to be checked by an experienced Elite SL3000 sliding gate repairer..Water has enter either the coil area or the magnet that control the opening and closing function of the Gate..

It's not from the remote. That is if the battery of the remote still functions properly..

It needs to be serviced to clean the water inside and after cleaning it up, it will be ok..

Please make sure someone who has the experience should handle it. Thanks

Good luck ..

Stanley garage door opener model 440. need a manual

http://www.teknuw.com/garage-door-opener-installation-manual/stanley/

https://www.manualslib.com/products/Stanley-U-Install-3760134.html

If you can identify the model number, it may be possible to locate a manual from 1997 using the internet with http://www.google.com

According to one of the web sites above, "Stanley stopped making garage door openers and gate operators in 1997. Spare parts can be difficult to find however original and compatible remote controls are still widely available, most of the remote controls used by Stanley were manufactured by the Linear corporation.
Stanley made garage door openers for other companies and many parts are interchangeable some of the brands they manufactured for are Vemco, U-Install, Quiet Glide, Light Maker, Home Innovative, Whistler, Popular Mechanics, and Secure Code."

Have a BFT Phobos BT gate opener. The problem I am having is my gate won't close all the way. There is a small gap. I tried to set the limit switch by removing the screw but it isn't...

The opener may have been mounted improperly or may have slipped from it's original mounting location. You may not be able to make an adjustment because the arm is already fully extended.
You may have to re-position the gate opener.

How would I support a heavy wooden gate over uneven terrain?

You need to go back to the hinges. The is a house near me that has a gated drive that rises sharply from the road. Needless to say a normal hinge system would only allow the gate an opening of a few inches. The hinges on the gate allow all the movement required, it is your problem in reverse, but the answer is the same. That is where you need to get your ironmonger to look.
