How can i unlock region coding

I bought a region B blu ray film and didn't notice the coding. Unfortunately I live in Singapore and the film will not play in this region. Is there a way to unlock the film?

You cannot unlock the Blu-Ray region of the PS3. You should try and get Blu-Ray discs that are not region locked in the future.

I have a Phillips BDP 3000 Blu-Ray player, is it possible to adjust this to play Region 1 DVD's. I recently purchased a pack of films on Amazon but unfortunately they are Region 1 only.

it is usually not allowed to change region codes for players

that said there are people that will sell you 'codes or hacks' to get this to work be careful though not all work and it will definately void your warranty to do this (as well as possibly being illegal)

I just moved to Rome and bought a great new Samsung home theatre system. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the region code situation and of course, none of my US DVD's and most of my Blue Rays do not...

It's not possible to make a Blu-Ray region free, of any brand and model, at this moment. And unfortunately your Samsung is a model specifically designed for Europe and the region code is hard coded in it and cannot be changed.
But you can do something else to view your disks : just buy a cheap pc with a BR-writer unit and VLC media player and you will not have a problem with region codes ever again.

Not rearly a problem is there an unlock code for this player to make it region free

Sony Blu Ray models are unhackable, as are most other makes. Most Blu Ray players reported as being hackable can only have the DVD region coding removed, not the Blu Ray coding.

Unfortunately, your Toshiba model is also an example of an unhackable DVD player. Many Toshiba, Sony and Panasonic (and others) models cannot realistically be made multi-region, sorry.

My Panasonic blu ray player DMPBD 30 does not play region B blu ray discs. How do I unlock the region codes?

Hi

The region codes or unlock hack for this model is not available, if you want to make it region free then you'll need a universal remote like a pronto remote or a One for all remote and then would need to enter the HEX codes to make it region free. It can't be done with the factory supplied remote.

You can buy a pronto remote from this link---

Pronto remote hex codes

Please ask for any clarifications and accept this solution if found helpful.

PS3 region code

Yes you can.. Blu-ray discs are not region coded.. However if you trying to play a DVD or any other format disc then it would not be possible since these are region coded.. However the PS3 games are region free.. can be bought from anywhere and played anywhere..

Hope this helps!!
