Remove old battery and get battery number. Maybe Walmart's carries it. If not check with some outfit that stocks all sorts of batteries. And of course you can always scope it out on ebay.
Plug in the tablet & turn on the device and keep holding down the volume down button to enter the screen that allows you to factory reset the device as the device boots up. The screen should change from the Envision text to black and then the debugging menu. If it shows the android screen name start the process over.
It happened to my V100MD and it worked. Many experts were saying you may have to send it back to the manufacturer or use the volume up approach. Follow the instructions above and it should work.
