Too much water going into machine

When my Servis Auto 800 washing machine is filling up with water and taking the soap powder from the drawer, it does not automatically turn off the water when it has reached its required level.

Is there anything I can do without having to get an engineer out.

You have a device in the washer that looks like in the pic, this controls the door lock and the water level if the pipe is blocked it will not trigger the switch to turn off the water
too much water going into machine - washer-pressure-switch-location-youvnqskhtbtm4ehoip33noy-3-0.jpg the pipe is as in pic and its in all washers, take the pipe off the valve do not blow down the pressure switch as this can damage it but blow down the pipe to the drum to push anything out in the pipe, if this does not fix the problem change/replace the pressure switch.

SOURCE: Washer fills with water , then shuts off , doesn't move to another cycle

Since you know about the lid and check switches, they are located under the splash (control)panel. unplug the machine and remove the screws holding the panel on. Using a meter check the switches for continuity and replace if they've gone bad.

SOURCE: Water leak from detergent drawer

Remove the control panel. Inside you will find a service tech sheet that will identify the error code.

There may be an obstruction in the water valve inlet flume forcing the water to travel in the wrong direction.

SOURCE: MY WASHER FILLED UP WITH WATER, BUT THEN IT JUST QUIT WORKING.

I believe it is your lid switch. I have replaced 3 this week. If you get me the model number i can tell you for sure. Another thing that caused this is the motor to go bad. Do you smell a burning smell when it is trying to run after the fill up? If not get me the model number and i will get you the part number for the lid switch.

SOURCE: Soap powder remains in the soap compartment

Depending on which compartment the powder is remaining in, it could be low water pressure causing the problem.
If it is taking some down, but not all the powder, then try putting the powder towards the front of the compartment.
If all else fails then I suggest you get one of these dispenser balls that you put straight in the drum with the washing.
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.

Water leaking out of soap dispenser?

Disconnect first the mains, power plug off the wall. You could have a clog in your soap drawer; pull the dispenser drawer completely out. There is a tab that needs to be depressed to release the drawer to remove. Clean the soap drawer with an old tooth brush. The usual block could be old soap, softener, etc. (you could also be using too much soap powder). I usually use just above 125ml (my measure cup says ml, I use front loader powder for the 5.5kg load) The wash is very gud. This is the normal issue that will cause water to leak out of the dispenser housing.
Wash the dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water. Make sure that you pull off the siphon covers and wash all siphon holes. This process is described in your owner's manual. Next could be one of hoses has become loose, should be re-fixed. Examine by removing top of the front loader; this will give you a gud view of the pipes. If helped, click.

I bought the Samsung 8 kg Top Loader (Model: WA80V3WIP) a few weeks ago. I only use cold water and bought the yellow packet of Sunlight washing powder, which specifically says on the packet that it works...

As with any top-loader, the soap drawer will deposit the entire soap load on one spot within the first few seconds of water fill. When the water starts running through the soap drawer, the brakes on the drum are released, so you can manually rotate the drum to disperse the soap over the load surface, thus eliminating the concentrated spots. Also, you may save the duvet, as the white marks are most probably dried soap powder which can be removed with a damp cloth wiped over the area.

Using powder 1/2 recommend amount. there is a continual build up of powder in the dispensing cavity behind drawer. how do I prevent this am having to clean with toothbrush daily

Hi

When you start a cycle, does the machine take a long time for it to fill up with water.

If so, you have a faulty inlet valve. There is a rubber diaphram inside the valve which tends to tear over time. When this happens the water just trickles in. Therefore the soap/powder is not dissolved into the tub thouroughly.

Some powders also dissolve less than others, and using the machine on hot water cycle helps to dissolve the soap faster.

Ash
