Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P71 Digital Camera
I think you should buy a Card reader that goes into your computers usb port, that will avoid draining any power from the camera.
The pictures might be corrupted due to power cut during the transfer. They are probably recoverable, you should try this software, http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm <- File Scavenger, I use this data recovery software myself and it work perfectly. Try the Demo and see if it can find your pictures.
if you don't want to pay for a data recovery software, you might want to try this free one http://www.majorgeeks.com/Restoration_d4474.html
I haven't tried the free one but I suppose it will also work.
The pictures might still be readable by the computer, so you might not need to use a file recovery software, try opening up the memory card in a card reader and see what pictures you can find inside.
