I am having a problem with the video output to my tv/monitor.
I get audio from all sources, dvd, cable, and vcr, but no video. I am connected from the receiver to the monitor via the component cables. The cable box to the receiver is connected with component cables. The dvd video is connected via an optical cable and the vcr video is connected with an s-video cable.
All was working properly 2 days ago. Since then, we've had 4power outages, but I have a surge protector for the equipment. Also, I attempted to connect an xbox 360 to the dvd/vdp video input with ans-video adapter.
I have double checked all connections, which are fine.
What else can I check? Would resetting the microprocessor correct the problem? I would not want to lose all of my settings if I can avoid it.
