Water is collecting in bottom of refrigerator

if the freezer is on top and water is under the bottom draws you have a plugged drain in the freezer.remove everything out of the freezer, shut down the machine or unplug it,remove the back inside wall of the freezer, with a hair dryer melt out all the'll see a drain hole under the evap coil, you have to blow that out,i use a steamer, you can try a turkey baster or something like that so you can blow out the line, when you think you have it cleared out, pour a half cup of hot water down the hole,if it goes down then it's clear,if not you have to blow it again until the water goes down, you can get a piece of copper wire like a ground wire from an electrical wire, slide it into the hole around 4 or 6 inches and cut it long enough so you can wrap it around the heater, when the heater comes on the copper will heat up keeping the drain from freezing up again.let me know how you make out

Kenmore side by side water leaking from freezer

You can buy a kit from whirlpool. In the kit is a metal tab that mounts onto the defrost heater. It is long enough to go into the hole. When the heater comes on for defrost the heat transfers down to the hole and keeps it from getting plugged up with ice. Part number 819043

Have a whirlpool side by side refriferator estate model. Freezer won't get cold. Cleaned off underneath, fan is turning, Unplugged for awhile and plugged back in. Keep hearing clicking noise coming from...

Plastic box you're referring to contains the start components for the compressor. The clicking sound sound you hear is the protective overload shutting the compressor off because it won't start.
Two possibilities
1. The components inside the plastic box (cover) are defective and need replaced. You can remove them, by snapping off the cover and pulling them straight off. Most appliance parts houses will be happy to test them.
2. The compressor has failed internally.
Note: In my personal experience when dealing with whirlpool Estate models, 99% of the time it has been a failed compressor.

Shuts down, interior lite on tho, plug back in and works - stops

You have a bad thermostat ( the piece where you adjust the coldness of the refrig ) . Once it gets to temp and shuts off , it will not tell the system to start again . Next time not running , tap on the t-stat . If it starts , this tells you the thermostat is bad .

Freezer keeps going down. brand new

Hi, did you connected plug correctly, green, (ground) black, (hot) white, (neutral) facing your (any) receptacle, pin on right, hot, pin on left, neutral, pin on top, ground, connect plug in like manner, check plug for correct wiring, or could be your motor overload relay, if your days are hot, overload relay will keep compressor off. put you thermostat to max, and try. or maybe you got low voltage, in building, common during summer months, low voltage sometimes damages, motor overload relay, and wiindings. check receptacle with digital multi-tester, check for accurate voltage, some motors won't start when, voltage drops to low, but fans would. unplug for an hour, and retry, then let me know what happened, then i could tell you exactly what's problem are. good luck.

Freezer keeps beeping and switching off

Next time this happens unplug it for about 10 minutes. When you plug it back up you should be able to turn it back on normally. This resets the board, much like restarting your computer. If the problem happens again, you will probably have to replace the board. You also want to make sure you have a good ground on the circuit and a steady power supply without too much fluctuation. Hope this helps.
