We are moving our Wurlitzer 1015 "one More Time" jukebox long distance and need to secure the moving parts. We have the shipping bolts in place. What other steps do we need to take?

I also need to transport my Whirlitzer one more time jukebox in a couple of weeks ... can you share any information regarding what worked and didn't work for you? I recall someone mentioning something about shipping bolts? What size are those? I would like to find some! [email protected]

Ensure you put some foam in between the actual cd mechanism and the base to stop it floating around, Remove cds! that's about it.

SOURCE: Wurlitzer 3600 Jukebox turntable problem

The 3600 has a hub that is supposed to play dinked and undinked records. They had 33rpm and 45 rpm records back then, so to change the record speed the undinked (small hole ) records pushed down the hub flat when it landed on it, which changed the gearing. When a dinked (big hole) record lands on it falls onto the larger part of the hub. So if the hub is down and stuck there that's your problem. After the hub has been pushed flat (because of a small hole record) it is supposed to rise up again when the record is returned to the carousel. Have a look under the turn table and push up the centre rod.

Hi, moving in 2 days, how to secure my 1moretime juke-box mechanism platform during the removal? Many thanks, Thierry

Bit late for your question but there should be two shipping bolts that clamp the mechanism down . That's the whole playing frame plate , located about 2 oclock and 7 oclock. Tighten them to stop the mech bouncing during transport.

I need to find a place to buy replacement parts for omt wurlitzer jukebox that plays 45's. Thanks.

Hello,

If your jukebox is ineed a Wurlitzer then you can order parts via a dealer, if the jukebox is by another manufacture then I suggest you look on the two following websites:-
www.victoryglass.com & www.happ.com for used parts www.jukeboxparts.com or in the UK at www.jukeboxparts.co.uk

Going to move my Wurlitzer 1015 300 miles. What do I have to do to stabalize the unit on the inside? Ron

If this is the original 1015 jukebox from 1945/46, plays either 24 X 45RPM or 78RPM records, then you need to remove all the records and their trays, secure the tone arm with some tape to its post, make sure the amplifier is locked in place, and then I would put an old sleeping bag or similar (pillow) into the space to the right of the record stack to prevent the turntable platter from banging up when you lay the machine on its back for transportation. Put a bit of tape on the straight bubble tubes to stop them from sliding out of their heaters - do this at the top of the tube and just leave the tape in place permanently.
When you arrive, first make sure that all the bubble tubes are in place, seated in their heaters, then check for loose parts, check the amp's tubes are seated, remove pillow, remove tape from tone arm, load records, cross your fingers and turn it back on.

How do i move my wurlitzer 1015 cd one more time

Hi,

I take it you wish to transport your jukebox.
If this is the case I would remove all the CD's (keep them in the order that they were on the jukebox for installation again)
The jukebox mechanism will have some form of tie down system that locks down the mechanism tight into cabinet.
Check the power supply, amplifier etc to see if they pull off their mounts. If they do usually on these parts are holes to insert wood screws to lock them down (use the correct length of screw so they do not damage the cabinet) On the title racks or tubes tape them down so they do not come loose in the cabinet.

Try if at possible to transport the jukebox upright in or on the vehical, cover the jukebox with blankets before strapping to the vehical.
