SOURCE: Gas over not lighting

It is likely that the ignitor needs to be replaced. If the range does not sense the proper amount of resistance in the ignitor, it will not turn on the gas valve for the lower burner. If the broiler is still working, it would further this thinking, as it has a separate ignitor.

Gas kitchenaid gas stove code F02. Turned off breaker seemed to cool down at first now getting warmer. Can't open oven door, like it is cleaning. What do Ido now?

Shut off the breakers and GAS make sure the oven has completely cooled... This may take a significant time
without the aid of the cooling fans...

While you are waiting the requisite HOURS....
Look up your model number on reputable parts sites..
I will list below.

The most likely failure point is a simple heat sensor... (thermal switch" which SHOULD HAVE released your door IF INDEED it
was cool enough (this is VERY critical).

Just purchased a KitchenAid KGRI801PBS00 and oven will not turn on, also not a high flame coming from burners? Oven fan will turn on, however it will not heat?

If you purchased this used you may the previous owner may have used the self cleaning feature and thus thethermal fuse is now blown, a known issue with Kitchen Aid ovens apparently.
The good news is that the fuse is a part that you can purchase online and replace yourself

My Kenmore propane oven is taking long then time needed to bake something

Hello,

A very common problem when gas(both propane and natural) oven takes longer to heat properly is going to be a weak igniter . Since its weak its not fully opening the gas valve and not enough gas is flowing to produce the proper flame size/heat. By replacing the oven igniter it will heat as its supposed to .

My stove does not maintain a consistent

Hi,
This is most common with electric ovens and the bottom element goning bad...but I will also include the most common problem for gas ovens also when this happens, as you did not specify which you have...

If your electric2_bing.gif oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...
Check out this tip that I wrote about the Oven not heating problem..

Oven set at 350, won't get there. kitchenaid mod#kgrt607hwho.

This sounds like a weak igniter, it would have to be a gas oven and the symptoms usually are: takes longer than normal to ignite the burner, may or may not smell gas in the oven, does not maintain set temperature or burner does not come on fully, eventually won't heat at all. On gas ovens, a glo igniter is like a light bulb, the more you cook, the faster it wears out. Bottom line, needs to be replaced. Good luck.

you need to look at the oven igniter to see what color it is. if it is orange it needs to be replaced. it should glow white hot in order to ignite. hope this helps.

Kitchenaid KEMS308 display is saying "enter probe temp or remove probe" No probe is plugged in or has been used in a while. This message came up after cooking for about 3 1/2 hours at 300 degrees. Now...

Apparently this is to do with moisture having affected the oven adversely (I got this error message after baking 50 potatoes with all the steam that generated. Have a look at this page http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=162257 ....the solution is to set the probe for 160F then turn the oven on for 15 minutes or so at 450F. This apparently should dry out the probe position and all work again.....I am trying it now.....
