I have 2005 colorado, fan motor is good, put a new motor resitor in and it still wont work.

Check the fan select switch and the wire harness that plugs into it,it may need to be replaced, they will melt down. Also if the resister wire harness has melted, replace it also, and check the relay and fuse.

I HAVE A 204 CHEVROLET COLORADO AND THE HEATER FAN WILL NOT COME ON ON ANY SPEED

This same thing just happened to my 04 colorado. the problem is in the wiring harness or the resistor for the blower motor. I found my problem in the harness. Take the few screws out of the glove box hinge and the cover under the glove box and the motor will be exposed. disconnect the large white coupling and look to see if the pins or holes are black, like they had been burned. If they are, you may be able to clean them and put them back together. If they look normal, the small black box that is bolted to the plenum has gone bad, this is the resistor. The entire harness, with resistor can be purchased on gmpartsdirect.com

05 Chevy Colorado trailer harness right turn not working

you must check the connection where the truck harness meets the added trailer harness on the truck itself not the trailer harness.

2008 colorado, will not disengage from 4 high. the light blinks nonstop

The most common problem is the switch itself' however your computer will give you codes to the problem. Sometimes the wiring harness going to the transfer case can lose contact. There is also a little motor at the back of the transfer case that maybe bad. Check your wiring harness first, next retrive your codes by having someone with a good scanner pull the codes. Good luck.

Have a 2005 chevy colorado, i installed a four way harness exactly how the directions say, but when i connect the trailor only the right and left turn signal and taillights work. No break lights.

On the truck, are the turn signals and the brake lights using the same bulb, if the brake lights are using a different bulb the trailer might not work withe the truck if it only has a 4 wire plug, might have to add brake lights to the trailer and use a 5 wire plug, yes this means rewiring the trailer and adding lights

Installing stereo had to put a wiring harness wired it all up red 12volt wire comes separete needs to hook up to ignition i do not know where it goes

Use a 12 volt test light & probe wires in harness from original connection, on feed side .Find a wire that only has power when you turn the key on. That's the one you'll connect that wire to.
