Actually, my diagnosis is either the element is open circuit or possibly there is an over temp. reset switch one can reset at the element or in close proximity to the element. Very seldom does the board go faulty.Gets a bit tricky after this as testing equipt is needed..

My treadmill gold medal jx286 starts runs for 2/3mins then the belt stops but everything els works

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HsNbDcJgkU
A treadmill that stops running after starting the workout can mean something is wrong with the belt, platform, motor or speed controls. When too much resistance occurs during a run or walk, the treadmill stops running to avoid any damage to the motor. https://www.livestrong.com/article/35127-troubleshoot-treadmill-stops/

My maytag dishwasher will run for a short then stop running, I'll push on the door the machine will run again then will stop again

your door is not staying latched.. imagine if it did stay running and the door came completely open, what a mess that would be. so there are safety switches that help stop the washing if the door opens. not too sure how to fix your exact washer.. but the problem is the door not staying closed. maybe you can jamm the door shut while it is running? its not the best answer, but probably the most free way to fix it

Do i have to have the gray wire from the start/stop switch tied into the white and black wire to utilize a starter button?

Well, I'm not sure about the colors because you didn't tell me what year model bike you're working on. But, in the earlier models, up to 1999, the power for the start switch came directly off the "Run/Stop" switch. This is designed to keep you from running your battery down because the run/stop switch is in the "stop" position. If you run/stop switch is in the stop position, the starter doesn't have any "fire" to it and it won't turn the engine thereby telling you that you have something wrong. The old Shovelheads had a "Run/ Stop" switch in 1973, when it was in the "stop" position, I saw many batteries run completely down trying to start the bike. Harley rewired the switch so that the "Run/ Stop" switch had to be in the "Run" position in order to get the starter to work.

Good Luck

Machine stopped running, its getting power but wont run.

Are you sewing or embroidering? If you are embroidering, the machine automatically stops and shows scissors in the window, for you clip the jumpstitch. Then just push the "Run/Stop" button.

Water won't stop running

It might have a small stone or something similar in the water soleniod valve or it might just be sticking open somewhat. I'd go ahead and change the cold water soleniod valve because it's not closing itself and shutting off the water flow.
