Think before you ask

Folks. We here aim to help in any way we can. Please remember that we are not standing next to you while you are trying to work out your problem(s). It is important to give us as much information as possible when asking your question. Give the facts only. We need to know manufacturer of the item and its model number. If you are talking about a vehicle, we need year, manufacturer, model, engine size, and whether it is 2WD, 4WD, or AWD. Give us some background if possible. What were you doing or trying to do when the problem happened? What symptoms are you experiencing? What action(s) have you attempted to this point in trying to solve the problem?

Most questions that go unanswered do so because the asker is not giving us the information we need to answer it. If it is good enough, we may comment and ask for more info. But many questions are so vague that we assume if the asker cannot ask the question, they probably cannot fathom the answer, so we skip them and go on.
