Replaced motherboard and fan motor. Plugged it in at 4pm. It started running. freezer set to -1 and fridge 37. Temp at start freezer 40 and fridge 57. 8pm freezer 27 fridge 56. Now 630 am freezer 26 fridge 58. I wake up several time a night and checked it out and nothing changed. Read GE site and suggest to rest MB switch by unplugging for 30 seconds. Did that. It started running then about 10 seconds later it clicked and shut off. Now it clicks off and on. Don't know what to do next.

I am experiencing the same problem with my GE fridge. We have already tried the Turbo Cool, but nothing seems to help.
Thanks

Possible main pcb failure failure which would cause everything to cut out and restart . Is the compressor or back of the appliance hot ?? Do all the control lights go out when the compressor cuts out ??
SOURCE: GE TFX26KRDA WW 2001 side by side refrig/freezer w warm fridge
Cleaned the condenser coils which were dusty but not severely so. Checked the evaporator coils which were NOT iced. Reset the fridge to coldest setting and freezer to #5 (mid range of temperature) and waited a full 36 hours. Fridge temp is 40 F and freezer is about 0F. Not sure what is different except coldest setting on fridge. Warm weather is here but not warm enough to require AC. Temps in late afternoon in house about 77-80F. Any thoughts are appreciated because I suspect this problem is not completely resolved.

Check and make sure fan in frezer section works properly.you should be able to hear fan slowing down when you open freezer, or find door switch and press and hold..hope it helps you..
SOURCE: GE bottom freezer began making a clicking noise, will not run
The clicking could be the start relay. If the start relay is bad, the compressor will not start and you will hear a clicking noise in 2-5 minute intervals. The clicking noise is the overload cutting the compressor off when it overheats from trying to start with a bad start relay. To find out if this is bad first unplug the refrigerator. Remove the lower cover from your refrigerator. Then take the cover off that is on the side of the compressor, you will see wires going to this. Now you should be able to see the start relay plugged on to the side of the compressor and unplug it. Now the best way to tell if it’s bad is to shake it. If it rattles, it’s bad and needs to be replaced. If not, most of the time it’s ok. But rather than saying the compressors bad, you might want to replace it anyways because it don’t cost much in most cases (less than $25). If you replace it and it doesn’t work then the compressor is bad and you’ll need you call a repairman. (Note that compressors are very costly and are normally not worth fixing).
