If It is a soldering issue (the wires soldered to the XLR internally) then you can undo the xlr and re-Solder the Wires to the XLR Connector.....Do this by Using a small Flat blade Screwdriver and insert it into the small hole above the XLR on the bottom and turn clockwise and the little wig screw will screw inwards and the xlr should pull out....the wiring is as follows.. Green- Pin 3 yellow- Pin 2 and there is no ground wire but make sure the metal tab go inside and makes contact with the body of the mic and is connected to Pin 1....however if the mic is totally not working and has no issues with the wiring then you need to contact SHURE in the UK and hopefully they will replace it more than likely the pickup coil has become open..

I just would sent it into Shure. I always do this as I know that it is fixed right. Those are great mics.
