How to tread Viking Husqvarna h class 500 r

I can't find a Husqvarna Viking H Class 500 R. There is a 500E. Make sure that the presser foot is up and the needle is in the highest position. Use the hand wheel to move the needle by turning the wheel towards you. All machines follow a move from right to left, down, up, down threading pattern. Place the spool on the appropriate spool pin and put on the spool pin cap. First guide the thread around the thread guide to the left of the spool pin and then pull it down along the groove. Continue running the thread down the groove and then around the inside of the tab at the bottom. Bring the thread up to the thread take-up lever. Pass the thread through the thread take-up lever from right to left. Insert the thread in the left-most groove and bring it down to the thread guide. Guide the thread into the thread guide above the needle. To use the needle threader, lower the presser foot. Otherwise, push the thread through the eye of the needle from front to back. See the manual if you are using a vertical spool or a double needle. The needle threader can't be used with a size 60 needle or the multi-needle options.

For inserting the filled bobbin, raise the needle. Open the bobbin cover plate by pressing the release button to the right while pushing the left corner of the plate. Place the bobbin on the pin of the bobbin case with the bobbin rotating counter-clockwise when the thread is pulled gently. Pull the thread through the slot slightly to the left of the 6 o'clock position (12 hour clock) and then to the left. Gently hold the bobbin with a finger and pull the thread the second slot (near 8 o'clock). Pull out about 6" of thread heading towards the rear of the machine and replace the bobbin cover plate.

The manual for the H-Class 500E is available here: https://www.husqvarnaviking.com/en-US/Machines/H-CLASS-500E . The current link to the manual is https://www.husqvarnaviking.com/getattachment/Machines/H-CLASS-500E/HClass_500E_manual_EN_B.pdf.aspx . See page 11 (page 13 of the PDF) for threading the top thread. Page 15 (page 17 of the PDF) has the section on inserting the bobbin.

I hope this helps.

How to wind a bobbin for a 250 electronic Viking Husqvarna machine

Make sure that the presser foot is raised if you are winding a bobbin with the top thread threaded through the needle. Place the bobbin on the spool spindle with the mark (a stylized H) outwards. Bring the bobbin spindle down. Next pull the thread from the needle under the presser foot to the thread guide on the right. Bring the thread above the bobbin and wrap the thread around the bobbin several times. Cut off the excess thread on the thread knife and step on the foot control to wind the bobbin. When the bobbin winding is finished, remove the bobbin from the spindle. Cut the thread to separate the bobbin thread from the needle thread. Move the bobbin spindle up.

Sewingpartsonline.com has a link to the manual for the Husqvarna Viking 250 on the machine specific parts page (under Manuals), http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/viking-250-sewing-machine-parts.aspx . The direct link to the manual is http://manuals.husqvarnaviking.com/VSM/Husqvarna%20Viking/HVManual.nsf/5bc6115484660075c12575d2003f80e3/ecf97dd171581582852575ed00755e7a/$FILE/Viking%20210,%20230,%20250%20%20x.PDF . The bobbin winding steps are on page 12. There is also a method for winding a bobbin with a different thread from the top thread. See the manual.

I hope this helps.

Thread bunches up into a knotted mess on bottom. Bobbin doesn't sit flat inside the bobbin case but spins with a tilt, lower on the left and higher on the right. Bobbin touches plastic cover plate.

Usually, thread bunching under the fabric is an upper tension issue. Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the upper thread.

With the bobbin case operating at a tilt, there is something mechanically wrong with the machine. It may be best to take it for service.

Automatic needle threader stuck

You may have a thread stuck in your bobbin area. Remove your bobbin, brush gently with a clean soft brush to remove dust and/or thread bits, then gently wiggle your hand wheel back and forth, and brush again. This should free up your machine.

How do i thread my bobbin on my singer merritt 4530

Run the thread around the little silver knob on the top of the machine to the bobbin threader on the top right. Wrap the thread clockwise around the bobbin a few times and then pull the bobbin threader toward the silver bar. If you put your hand on the crank wheel, you will feel a place for your finger to set. Push there and the center of the crank wheel will sideways allowing you to thread the bobbin when you press the pedal. I'm sure my terminology doesn't make any sense.

Problems with lower thread tension

Did you bend the throat plate? I have done that and it was a nightmare. I took it off and gently hit it from the backside with a towel over it to bend it back the way it was. It worked fine.

Kenmore cant thread bobbin

Sounds like you haven't engaged the bobbin into the wheel that runs the threader...

I had to pull the thread thru one of the little holes of
the bobbin and run the machine carefully to get it to
start threading.

Hope this helps.

Help problems with Bobbin and tread

I found that if the bobbin is not threaded correctly or if the upper thread is not adjusted properly, it will bunch on the bottom. Also, if the stabilizer is not firm enough for the material it will bunch.

Bobbin won't turn

take the top of the machine cover off by removing screws on top plastic cover. Make sure that the rubber ring on the wheel that turns the bobbin threader is making contact with the belt from the flywheel in the back. You may need to see if it turns freely. If not take it off and lubricate it until it frees up and then replace it and the cover.
