2009 Ford Fusion SE 2.3L error codes P0491 and P0410. What are these and what steps do I need to take to fix them. Is there any diagrams or can someone specifically tell me the steps and places to look to...

Both of those codes refer to a problem with the secondary air system (air pump). The P0491 refers specifically to bank 1. Both codes are generic in nature and don't tell you anything specific about the problem so the whole system has to be troubleshooted. Look for damaged hoses or vacuum lines off for starters.

My 02 grand am gt is acting up engine light is on went to autoparts store to get it checked out it threw codes p1404, p0404 and p0300 i already changed the egr valve twice and it wont help can someone plz...

code p0404 refers to Exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR)--range performance problem--- causes---hose leakage--wiring---EGR valve/solenoid
code p0300 refers to random/multiple cylinder/s ---misfire detected.---causes---spark plugs---ht leads---injectors--ignition coils---low compression ---wiring. Remember it is best to use genuine sensors/solenoids as the cpu is set to them. Try changing the egr solenoid

I think you are refering ti the VIN (vehicle identification number) where your engine code number can be referanced. It is located on thd dash board above the steering wheel in the top left corner..It more visible from outside the vehicle. You can use this number at any dealer or parts store and they will be able to tell you what your engine specifications are...hope this helps Please reply! Thank you

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON. WAS TOLD IT WAS THE 02 SENSOR/VALVE. WHERE DO I FIND THIS? GMC SIERRA 1500

You should have 5, O2 sensors on your Sirera. What are the DTC codes, each codes will indicate which O2 sensor needs to be addressed, or is this an answer with someone guess what the check engine light is saying.
Thye check engine light could be from a bad O2 sensor to just a bad or loose gas cap to a transmission issues.
Thank you for using fixya and note that Auto Zone and most larger auto parts store will scan DTC codes free of charge.

2002 CHEVY S-10 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

YOU NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE READ THE CODES. SOME PARTS HOUSES (ADVANCE AUTO AND AUTO ZONE) WILL DO THIS FREE OF CHARGE. ONCE THEY TELL YOU WHAT THE CODES ARE YOU WILL HAVE TO FIX THAT PROBLEM BEFORE THE LIGHT STAYS OUT. YOU CAN RESET IT BY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY FOR A COUPLE MINUTES, BUT THE LIGHT WILL KEEP COMING BACK ON UNTIL THE VECHILE IS REPAIRED
