Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Same problem as far as I can tell its either the phone writing empty blocks of data to the memory card or its memory checksum is faulty. if these phones could be hooked to a computer this could probably be fixed, but its a total failure on samsungs dont buy this phone if your gonna text alot.

How can I transfer usb data to my sd card without a pc?

I suspect you'll have to delete some stuff to make room for proper operation. One of the features of flash memory, including SD cards, is the need to spread wear from writing amongst the memory blocks, because you can only write to a memory block so many times before cells wear out and go bad. The controller is probably unable to find a lightly used set of blocks large enough to do the transfer. Delete the oldest files you can part with first until you've made enough new space to accommodate the files you want to move (these are likely to be in lightly used blocks). If you can get your hands on computer that is able to read files from the phone, you can save the condemned files there before deleting them from the phone.

The PC does not start.Only it beeps and a red light blinks, also fen is not working.

here are some of the basic codes, depending on which BIOS you have...

Also you do not indicate which fan? I would guess you mean the main Power Supply (PS)? In which case it could just be you need to replace the PS.

Here is a link to some other codes as well...

Vids/music problems with lg viewty

Viewty should be able to play 3GP and Mp4 format, what I think is probably you are inserting new memory card.

Here's the problem with new memory card.. You can't fill it with data (songs, videos, pictures) by PC before you insert the new card into your phone. What will happen is, that your new card will be containing those data but unreadable by your phone.

What you should do now, is backup your data inside the card to PC, then format the card by your phone or by PC, after it is formatted (clean), insert it once to your phone (the phone will write some system data and make folders to the empty memory card), after that, you can fill it with new songs and videos, and your phone should be able to read them. FYI , some phones need videos to be insert to video folder and picture to picture folder. But in this case, I think you just need to format your memory card and do as I instructed above. Hope that helps.
