Question about Dell F3534 Touchpad
My inspiron 1525 battery is not charging properly. its charging for a 5 seconds then not for another 20 seconds and then starts charging for 5 sec, the interval is dynamic.i bought it in feb. 2008. Then yesterday onwards its not even booting am getting a message "time-of-day" clock stopped.
i cant imagine buying a new one(its too expensive). Guys suggest me wot to do? Thanks!
You could try buying a new laptop battery. Typically laptop batteries lose their luster after a year.
If the laptop is booting up to a system clock for you to enter the correct date and time, then you may also need a new CMOS battery. They're a small battery on the motherboard.
Both batteries are fairly cheap but you may want to take the laptop to a certified tech to test or replace the CMOS.
OR if the laptop is still under warranty then get Dell to do it for you.
