Question about Dell Latitude D531 Notebook

When i boot my laptop, it is getting stuck most of the time. #2

This is continuation of post - http://www.fixya.com/ThreadAsker.aspx?thid=2563629&msgid=6276889 .As per answers from babes_ganda0 and myjosh007, i have checked my RAM status - whether it is loosen or not. But i could not found any issues there. But while trouble shooting, i got a interesting result. That is, i have noticed that, the issue of "getting stuck while booting" is only getting when i connect to power outlet and boot. If i boot with laptop battery, no issue is getting.(i have checked around 30 times). What may be the reason ? Please help.

It is fault with power supply waltage or earthing problem.
Check your main power supply and also check power adapter.

My gateway laptop is stuck on blue screen w/please wait displayed. Tried 2 get gateway help but no warranty so switched 2 someone that told me 2 pay $100 to continue support! Please help!

If it will not boot after about an hour, press and hold the power button until it powers off. Remove the battery and power supply. Wait 5minutes, fit the charger and power on but press F8 just before it tries to boot. Select Safe Mode and see what happens. It may well recover.

Asus N45SL stucked on Jay Chou logo

Restart your computer
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key
this will vary depending on your computer and operating system

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
hope this helps

I have to tell you that 1 long beep followed by 2 short beeps are generated from bios for vga errors... This means that you have to get your laptor at the technician as sooner as posible in order to check the vga part of the motherboard for ventilation problems (that's the best solution for you) or for motherboard replacement (I don't think that this solution is very comfortable, since it will cost as a new laptop)

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

Getting stuck while booting with Power outlet.

Your power source may be going bad? Seems too simple to be true, but your AC adapter may have outlived its functionality, or the AC input jack may need replaced (which you can find on ebay for under $15, usually)
