There is a tiny drive belt connecting a small motor to the loading tray.when they stretch, they run but do not open the door.if that is the case, putting your ear on the machine while hitting the eject button will enable you to hear the loading motor running inside.if you do not hear anything,it is a different problem

The push button switch is malfunction , try use a remote control to eject. if can be eject by remote, probably the PB is dirty. If not maybe the belts or motor problem.

Cannot eject disc door will not open

It means the eject botton is not functioning, maybe the botton is not contacting the appropriate function.
Try and open My Computer or Computer from START botton and then right click on the Disc-R to select eject and you will find it open immediately.

The door is jammed so I cant get the disc out. Am I better buying a new camcorder as it will cost to repair.

I had this problem myself Push eject botton and open door by hand. Should be done together as the eject botton moves the door lock for it to open.

The eject botton is broken the reset bottons not working

You can try using a thin Flathead screwdriver and flip the buttons out, it wont look pretty but you will be able to use the eject button(only it wont have the Eject button cover on it)

Disk won't come out of disk drive. What can I do?

on your laptop turn the system off first then as soon as you turn it on kee on tapping f2 to get to your system BIOS "Note: getting into the BIOS depends on the system Some require to press Delete Botton to enter the BIOS setup" once in the BIOS you can eject you DVD rom from there by pressing one of the function keys on your system this depends on what brand of laptop you have some have F10 to be the eject Botton in BIOS for all DVD/CD-roms to make it eject, also if the Functions botton dont work try Holding down the FN key as well + the function Keys try this one at a time till your cd/dvdrom is ejected, am sorry I cant give you the exact info this query is based on machine type and brand. but this should do it for you if it doesn't this means that your dvd/cdrom's mechanism insdie is damaged or malfunctioning. i do not suggest prying it out, ths may damage the system as well.

I have a xv n330 dvd player and it says lock when I try to take out the dvd in the player and it says lock.

When you press the eject botton while pressing down the stop botton on the unit in
standby mode, the tray lock function is activated. The disc tray
cannot be opened or closed in this status. To release this
status, press the eject botton while pressing down the stop botton on the unit in standby
mode.

Power botton not responding

If it's not ejecting or responding to any of the buttons on the unit, or the remote, but is able to play a DVD, the display microprocessor(computer) within your Harman is damaged. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.
