Question about HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5800
I have an HP Compaq d330 desktop computer thats Power Supply was fried do to being plugged in while a power serge occured. I replaced the motherboard with a new exact model, a different processor, different ram and used power supply. It computer light turns on and the computer seems to run, but from the time I start it to whenever the screen has no signal/ picture.
There are several possibilities. 1. replace the ram, make sure that its a good working ram module. 2. review all your work from system board to power supply. 3. try running it temporarily without the cmos battery. 4. check your monitor. 5. check your VGA. 6. retry and retry.
