What does "Invest" mean?

I should have mentioned if none of the suggestions work you may have a burned out speaker. The heat generated by the windshield dries the speakers out. I have had two speakers replaced in my Whistler 78 Pro in the last 5 or 6 years.

Weather frequencies are factory programmed into the PRO-2018. Just press the weather button to start scanning them. You can also program one or more manually if you wish. For a list of NOAA weather broadcast frequencies, follow this link:

That means Calibrate. You must calibrate your unit as per your manual. below

Those are the different radio frequencies that Radar Guns use.

When powering up, the detector goes through a short diagnostics test to make sure everything is working as expected. If there is a problem detected during this time, a message like the one you have displayed will appear. You should contact Beltronics Customer Support to arrange service with one of the methods listed at the bottom of this post.

The manual is not available from any source anymore. Not only that, this model only detects X and K band radar. It does not detect any Ka band radar nor laser. You don't want to use this older model as a means of defense against modern police radar and laser guns.

Try doing a "factory reset" per the instructions in the user manual. Sometimes the firmware settings get hosed, and performing a reset restores proper operation.
