Question about Motorola Mobility MING A1200

1 Answer

Screen problem The display screen is not working properly. When you try to push anything from the center of the screen to the left side it activates icons on the right side, for example, if you push 1 it will bring up a 3, if you push menu on the main screen it will bring up the messaging screen. Is there a solution to this? I have tried to recalibrate it and was unable to tap on the allignment x because it is on the left side of the screen. This has rendered the phone useless and it is only 2 months old.

I am having the same problem with my screen display. I tried to use the voice command and open setup but when it comes to the screen that has the x display it will not move at all with the tap. I even tried master reset and amster clear but when I get the 000000 input it will go back to the previous screen. Any suggestions / solutions?

Ok busted screen and i can't access anything on computer, say&settings must be changed in vaio control center to activate the external display option, how can i do this if i can't see anything?

You could try connecting an external monitor with whatever graphics port you have available (VGA, HDMI or DVI.) It may not show your screen automatically, but it's worth a shot. Otherwise, take it to a computer shop and have a nerd try and save your hard drive data.

My nexus 10 tablet turns on but screen won't display anything, even though you hear it working and active when you touch the screen it just doesn't visually display anything?

Definitely, it has a problem with the LCD. Well, if that was already opened by the service center maybe, the reassembly of the device is not proper (maybe you were right, you got screwed by negligent service repair guy). But let me ask you, does that repair center an authorize repair center of Samsung devices in your place? Try to go to an authorize repair center, so you won't worry much about your tablet. That's my only advice 'coz I think it will be the best for your tablet and for you, too. 'Coz, if I will advice you to pry your tablet and go into technical stuff you might probably lost and your problem will get worst. But if you have the guts to do it, just use a precision tools and check if the LCD connections is properly connected by those repairmen you have deal with. And it is much better if you have a tablet lcd tester. But I'm pretty sure you wont try to exert an effort to buy a tester since you wont use it much. So, as I've said try to go to a certified Samsung service center.

How do I fix the clock

Push the main control knob (right side of the unit) either up or down, until the Kenwood's display screen shows "Clk Adj." Press the center of the control knob for about a second to enter the clock-setting mode.

  • 2 Push the main control knob either up or down to set the Kenwood's hour display. Stop when the correct hour shows on the screen.
  • 3 Push the main control knob to either the right or left to adjust the minute display. Stop when the correct hour shows on the screen.
  • 4 Press the "Menu" button located in the bottom-left corner to save the changes you made to the clock. This returns you to the main menu

    Screen display

You have control buttons for the OSD either on the bottom or the side of your monitor.

Push and enter the set up and push buttons until you see the arrows that move the screen up or down, right or left.

Your model may have one of the buttons marked automatic. If so, pressing that one will center the display on your monitor.

Horizontal view on screen will not re-center

You want to locate Position or Horiz Position from the Menu screen. Press menu first then Up or Down to select the item you want then Left or Right, I can't be more specific as all monitors are different - but there isn't a single button to center. You could also try the different input settings (Analog, Digital, etc) if the Autoselect isn't working properly.

there is a flag switch located to the left hand side of the top cover that causes this issue
if you look at the left hand lip of the top cover, you should note that it does not meet flush with the top of the control panel, there is a cutout for the lever for the flag switch that appears to not move as smoothly as designed, my guess is a mismounted switched or a misaligned axle for the switch

you can actually access the switch lever itself when the top cover is open, just reach in and wiggle it until it depresses properly, you may have to do this (or at least check it) every time you open the top cover
