Samsung Dryer dv203aes/xac will not heat. Drum is rotating and lint was cleared from exhaust.

Check the following:
1. Does it have 220 volts (yes it runs, but dryers run on 110 volts)?
2. Check the heating element and the safety thermostats located on the heat element canister. Low air flow from any restriction like lint build up or mashed ducting or blocked air exhaust vent cap can either trip the safety stats or burn out the element. Clean dryer and exhaust ducting thoroughly and replace bad parts before placing back in service. Poor air flow is the number one problem with "No Heat" dryer issues.

Model LEQ6000ES Affinity Frigidaire electric dyer purchased 5-29-06: tumbles but won't heat. Cleaned all air ducts and lint trap and still won't heat. Error codes not obvious. What else can we check?

you will need to check the main power and make sure there is 220 volts at the termianl block if that is goor then you will need to check the heating element an all thermal fuses.

remove the small panel in the back of the dryer so you can get the belt loose.
then remove the lid.Take out the four screws that hold the control panel in place.
then remove the screws that hold the front panel on and then remove the drum lift up on the back of the drum to get it loos e from the carrier bearing holder thenyou can get to the heating element and thermal fuse on the back wall of the dryer and the side wall of the heating element can.

Motor runs, but no heat generated.

It is most likely the heating element or thermal cut out. That is behind the drum. Remove the front panel. Get to the back panel. take it off. then notice how the belt is. draw if you have to. pop it off. then get gloves on the next step is very sharp and i will be the first to tell you.. you can go to the hospital... anyhow grab the back of the drum and the front then **** up. then you will see heating element and thermostats. you may see the heating element bad, if not then having the unit still unplugged check continuity on the fuses. call me if need any parts or more help. Changing heating element on a frigidaire dyer

If you dryer lint screen is located at the top of your dryer your heating element is going to located at the rear of your dryer. You will need to remove the back of the dryer to get to it. You will see a housing and the element is located in there. If you lint screen is located in the door when you open the door then your heating element is located in the front. This one is easier to get to. Simply remove the bottom panel under the door and you will see the heating element right at the front on the right hand side. Make sure you unplug the dryer before working on it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and also please let me know if this was helpful for you. Good luck and glad to help.
