Re: Magnavox dvix player to ilo 42

What are the modelnumbers on your divx player and your tv? if you are using svideo inputs do you have your audio cables hooked up? have you checked the volume on the player to make sure it is not muted?

once you supply more info i can help you further, until then, check your cables and audio settings on your divx player. and make sure all connections are in the right place

hope this helps

Picture but no sound

It is most likely the SAP setting is in place. This will kill the sound

To reset the audio, go to the on-screen menu and select the setting for audio and make sure it is on stereo rather than SAP (second audio channel).

toggle the two and see which is compatible to ur Dvd player

thank you

No Picture on Magnavox 42" Plasma TV

Plasma displays use a fairly high voltage and the supply for it has failed.
If you want to check on your own, remove the back panel and look for one or two boards with far fewer and larger than average components on it or them.
If two boards are present, the one most obviously related to the incoming AC cord will be the main supply but in some sets, the main and HV supplies may share a board.
Locate the part # and email the manufacturer for a price on repair or replacement.

Magnavox Plasma HDTV Red light

I had a similar problem with my magnavox tv with the blinking light issue. Eventually it just didn't come one anymore. Looking at other forms they said the problem was a bad capacitor number 2074 located on the power supply board. When I opened my tv, I noticed that the capacitor was bulging and burnt up. I bought a new one labeled 2200uf 35v and did some solder to attach the new piece. Put the tv back together and it works like new. No more blinking light. I hope this helps.
