Write error / Read error

Sometimes I get "write error" when I try to take a shot and when I try to view the photo I get "read error" on my new Fujipix S1000.
Othertime the camera just freezes, I cannot do any thing, so I am forced to remove the batteries.

Hi

i think the memory card that you are holding has gone bad

just to confirm this try connecting the card using a card reader to the PC and while at it, change the output of the camera to the other card (CF/XD) and try to check if this workssss

happy photographing, enjoy

cheers
Pls rate if this was any help

Using my Canon SH Power Shot SX60 SH Camera, Today I to took a view more shots and it just keeps giving me the ERROR Message(memory card error)I have Valuable pic's on this card and now don't open up.

Your card may be full, or else corrupt. Either way, replace it immediately. If it can be read in your computer, copy all the photos to the hard drive. If not, then find a friendly computer-tech who can run image rescue software on it for you.

Unable to view photos i have taken, Screen says Read Error

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

for all those who c.32.01 error is an error related to contacts camera card reading virtually fail to read the card. for this problem must disassemble the camera and exert a little pressure on each contact then to reinsert the card and restart the camera

When i view my photos on my camera they come up with 'read error'

Sounds like the card is failing - try recovering the images with a free software package - Google will find you lots - then Format or discard the card. Format in the camera - NEVER format using a computer

Displays file error message when trying to playback still images and video footage

Did you take the card and insert into computer/device to view photos?

Viewing photos can alter the format of the photos thereby preventing your camera from reading them.

I viewed some photos and rotated a few photos and my camera no longer recognizes the format.

good luck

S5 Pro and "read error" on some of the jpeg files...

It looks like the camera isn't seeing the card properly for what ever reason.

As it's brand new, go back to the shop for a replacement. Bear in mind i't may just be a card problem and that's what they'll try first.

Before you leave, ensure they demonstrate it working to your satisfaction.

I cannot view my photos that are on my memory stick it says format error

Sony right...format errors usually accure with them. If you didn't format your card through the camera prior to taking pictures then that is why it's not reading. You might want to check to see if the type of camera you bought requires a special program to read the files. Sony is famous for this.

Problem

If this is the first batch of images then there would appear to be a fault with the Camera or the Card to check it out following the manual- Format the card. Take a test batch of images Try a read back or an upload to computer. This will establish if it is the card or the camera. returner either or both to the seller for replacement
