How can I override the default thermostat settings?

I bought this unit because the spec sheet says that the range of cooling goes up to 53 degrees (Good for storing heavier craft beers.) The highest I can set the thermostat is 43 degrees. I'm getting no help from the manufacturer or retailer. I hope someone out there knows how to do this!

Why does Proselect thermostat keep defaulting to 70 degrees?

Hi,

To operate it manually, you'll need to review the steps in the manual to turn off the automated settings and update the default temperature as well.

Thank you.

My PSP511Ca luxpro thermostat is stuck set on 85 degrees despit the program or on override. How can I change it?

Did you try the recessed software reset button? Its a small hole above the button labeled NEXT A straightened paper clip works best to push the button. It will switch it back to the default settings and so you'll need to reprogram the thermostat.

I bought one of your portable AC units set it for sixteen degrees but it will not go lower than twenty one degrees why?

What is your ambient temperature???????Your unit has a certain rating but if the ambient is higher than normal specs, then the cooling will be affected accordingly. If it 130 out side do you think your AC will bring the temps down to 78? No way!

CWC-1600 cools constantly

More than likely, the thermostat on the unit is going bad. If the coils haven't been cleaned recently, then I suggest that you unplug the unit, clean it well and then cycle it back on. If it continues, then the thermostat that's located within the unit is going bad. Please refer to the owners manual for proper service and maintenance for your unit. https://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/content/pdfs/140265-1.pdf

I just had a flex multi split ductless system installed. when it comes to heating and cooling there seems to be about a 4 degree range between when the heating and cooling comes on and off. also,the...

Read your maunual. It might be normal. A 4 degree split in your set back heateing control is about normal. It is that way so you can turn your unit on and never really need to touch it again. When the temp goes up, cooling goes on. When the temp goes down, heating comes on.

Carrier Comfort 13 Puron model 24ACA3 / FV4NB006 installed 3/18/08 no longer cooling. Carrier AC1-100 Thermostat checked per manual - all default settings intact. Test override did not turn unit on though....

Verify 24 volts at the low voltage transformer inside the air handler. If it is OK, jump out the red/green and yellow thermostat wires. If everything comes on, replace the thermostat.

Refridgerator is not cooling properly

Ours does this too; it says its 34 degrees but really its 53-58 degrees. . . The compressor coolant part of the machine freezes and then it can't circulate the cold air to cool the fridge. You have to unplug it for at least 24 hours to let it thaw, or you can take out the lower drawers and shelves, unscrew and remove the lower back pannel (from the inside of the fridge). We use a blow dryer to thaw out the ice block that formed on the unit. It goes faster if it is unplugged, this fridge is horrible we lost hundreds of dollars in groceries before we figured out the problem.
