Question about Televison & Video
All universal remotes come with a code book that will tell you the brands they can control. So far there isn't a remote made that can control ANY TV because the manufacturer of the TV has to communicate information about the frequency their remotes work on to the people that make universal remotes. Some TV makers don't do that, so as a result their TVs can't be controlled any universal remote that's available.
The only way to see if a particular one will operate your particular TV is to find out if the maker of your TV is in the code book of the remote you're looking at purchasing. You may be able to find the information on the internet without actually making the purchase.
