Question about Apple iPhone 3G
I upgraded from a first gen iPhone to a 3G. Everything transferred over for the most part, but when I re-synced the phone to try again, my MobileMe was syncing at the same time the regular sync function was happening, causing a conflicting sync warning to appear on my computer screen. At that time my iPhone screen had gone from the normal "syncing iPhone" screen to a completely white screen. I got the dreaded spinning wheel. I then had to do a force quit iTunes. Now my screen is black, and um...it won't go back. I can hear calls coming in, etc., but it stays black. I've tried: 1. Reset holding power button and home button. Didn't work. 2. Restoring to factory settings through iTunes. It seemed to be working at first. My screen reappeared and showed the restore progress, but once it finished, back to black. 3. Went into devices in iTunes and removed the two backups that occurred after my original sync so only the backup I did before I changed phones was left. Did another restore to factory setting. Still black.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
