Speed= Shutter Speed
A= Apeture
M=Manual
P=Program
I you are asking about the meaning of the above this suggests you are just starting out so the best setting is P[Program]
This lets the camera select for its self the optimum settings.
With more than 60 years of photography behind me - I still use 'P' for snapping around.
If you want to go further you will have go get a good book.

    The User Manual usually comes in the box - 1. is a simple get you started hand book and
    2. A more comprehensive version on the CD in PDF format.If that is not the case then you will have to contact Panasonic customer support for advice on where to obtain one.

WHAT SCENE MODE SETTING IS BEST TO SET SANYO CAMERA ON?

That depends on what you're taking a picture of. The various scene modes are designed for different types of pictures---portraits, landscapes, etc. There is no one setting that is best for all pictures.

Are you press ligthly? if press half and ligthly, it will not take the picture.

When you have using macro mode, you need to disable Flash mode.macro mode will show picture(flower) and avoid hand shake during this mode.
When you take in 10cm range in macro mode, it will take more longer time to autofoucus, you need to be freeze a while until it take the picture. The best it, try to take picture in without you inhale. it will avoid you from shage

Try using in different DIS mode when you using the flash.
In some mode, it will have twice flash. First flash it will check the condition and wait until second flash and dont move your camera.

Some condition, you will get the picture is white, it because from dust atmhospheric that we cant see. it reflective to ur flash.for the best picture, you need to try in different mode and different condition. that will make you as proffesional. this camera have many mode that you need to understand. training urself to be perfect. download manual and test your camera

VOB files on vista

You have to change it to supported format such as avi or mpg.
Means, you have to "rip" your video.
I use Xilisoft DVD ripper.
But you can try other software.
This one is free:

DARK POTRAITS

what do you mean dark? if they are underexposed... extend you exposure time.

There is a small round button near the shutter release... hold that down, and rotate that thumb wheel thingy. You can over or underexpose your camera's auto metering by 2 stops in 1/2 stop increments...

After that, you should learn how to take control of the camera and shoot in manual mode. It give you the ultime power
