Question about Sony Alpha DSLR-A100 Digital Camera
My Sony a100's LCD screen broke during transportation. I'm looking at fixing it myself, because it seems that it would be fairly expensive to have it done by Sony (as expensive as the camera is currently worth!). Does anyone have a link to a website that may have a manual on replacing the screen myself?
That's not too bad of a problem to live with if you don't end up fixing it. You probably know this already but what you see through the viewfinder is exactly what shows up on the lcd screen after you take a picture.
*Tested the camera to see if any of the options and/or buttons work?
*Taken any pictures with it and uploaded them to your computer?
Do you have a user's manual that can help you navigate through the options? If not, feel free to send me a message.
As far as repairing the screen, familiarize yourself with other Sony screens if you can't find anything on the A100. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UR8mqXd4Jrw

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
