You have to migrate from the Generation III pokemon games.

I suggest using Emerald though. You have to win that game though to get a ditto.....so it's redundant but it works

Btw you can't find eggs, you have to breed pokemon.

Hey,easy.
you just win the game(i no it's a long way to go)then save it turn it of turn it on and there will be migrate from fire red(if you put a pokemon fire red game pak in)this works for every gamboy advance pokemon game.Catch a ditto in the gameboy advace game pak and then migrate it to pokemon diamond.

woah! calm down. all u need to do is catch a diitto outside Canalave city, they are quite rare in the grass. find at about lvl 40 ONLY once u have finished the game.
