Check the model number and compare it to the original that should be listed in your users manual. If they don't match see if you can get the original on ebay from a vendor in China. Seach on ebay by model number.
Sorry for the late reply. Some 3-speed switches are as easy to replace as giving me the model number and serial number of the fan and plugging a new one in. In most cases though, we ask the customer to write down the color code (which colored wires go where in the switch) then I have to break open the switch to identify it. in order to help you, i need to find out the model first. you can find it out at the top of the circulating fan which has a sticker, from there we can find out the model and the appropiate serial number , remote are available on line depends on the model number
