Not knowing the model number of your set.

Try this.

With power on, hold down VOL minus button on projection display and hold down the PIP or SPLIT button (try both) on the remote simultaneously for more than 5 seconds.

I hope that this helps.

Mitsubishi projection tv keeps blowing bulbs! Every 6-12. Months. What is causing this tv to blow bulb?

bulbs normally fail from, overheat, loose in fitting or over voltage
if it is a screw in bulb then the problem may be from a loose earth (ground ) connection in the holder ( arcs just like a welder and that cause over voltage and surges to the bulb)
if it is a ceramic holder there should be a brass strip that rubs on the thread of the bulb as you screw it in
remove the power cord from the wall socket and bend the strip out to increase the load on the thread
screw in the bulb and every so often make sure that the bulb is tight
always make sure that the cooling fan (if there is one ) for the bulb is running at full rpms before ,during and after the unit switches on/off

My Mitsubishi tv WD 73734 won't show a picture you can hear sound and it powers on and off lamp light red and timer lighter blinking

No TVs will behave that way due to a timer. TVs only will display a nag screen telling you to reset the timer. If your lamp is more than 2 years old, it is suspect of failure. Be sure you buy a lamp with an Osram brand or Philips brand bulb inside. Any compatible(knockoff)lamps will not perform as they should. Mitsubishi DLP TV Bulbs
These folks sell original Osram bulbs in their lamps and they have a 6 month warranty. I use them myself for repairs and really have had great experiences with them.

I have a Mitsubishi 60inch 60737 replaced the bulb last it keeps cutting off, cleaned the filter before.someone said to reset bulb timer, how do I reset it.

The Lamp timer will not cause it to shut down. The timer should have been reset when you first turned the TV on after replacing the bulb. Make sure your bulb is an Osram brand bulb. If not, then you do not want to use it as it may not be very good.

Ford ka main beam headlights blow every few months

Are you driving along rough roads with lights on? That can shorten the life of the bulbs. When the bulbs were installed were they touched on the glass part. If so that will cause them to burn out. Wipe all finger prints before installing.
Maybe you already know all the above, if so I think maybe your alternator or voltage regulator might be set to a voltage too high for the bulbs.

Hope this helps.

2006 Trailblazer low beam headlights out high beams work.

Bulbs are like people - some last a long time, some croak early.

Meanwhile the part they plug into can be cleaned out and restored if metal is still there.

Malibu transformer 120w 1-8100-9120-01 transformer has no power and LCD is dark. Power plug was verified to be working. Unit is new, installed, configured and came back to see if lights came on during...

I don't have repair for defect timer, except return to Home Depot and exchange for another.
Try unplugging timer to see if will reset. There is no specific reset button on timer.
Test outlet with circuit analyzer to confirm there are no electrical problems.

The label shows advisories: Don't use extension cord, unplug unit when working on bulbs, and plug unit into GFCI protected outlet to protect from surge and short.

Other advisories not shown: Unplug power pack if breaker trips or if power goes out. Wait until power is on before plugging back in. First bulb should be 10 feet from unit. Do not wrap extra cord around power pack. Match bulb wattage and power pack wattage: 200 watt power pack should have 200 watts and not more or less. Replace bulbs as soon as they burn out.
These advisories should not affect initial operation of timer, but are things that shorten life of power packs,

The unit is programmed to come on at 5:00 p.m. and go off at 11:30 p.m. It was wooking but now the lights won't come on.

Three things can cause lights not to come on:
1) Timer has gone bad.
Try resetting and reprogramming timer. Make sure you have correct mode.
I test timers. 4-6% arrive defective and most quit within a year or two.
Some go bad within a month.
If display does not show, then check battery.
Most timers have internal rechargeable battery that is not replaceable.
When rechargeable battery goes dead, timer is bad.
2) Light bulb burned out or lamp turned OFF.
3) Receptacle has no power. Plug lamp in directly and see if bulb comes on.

Lights under the microwave won't turn off

The problem is in the control board of the microwave. We repair these circuit boards nationwide for this problem for only $32.50. For more information you can do a search on (not Google) for: microwave circuit repair It's a good idea to also send a copy of the technical note sheet from inside the oven when you send the assembly in for repair. This problem is caused when the bulbs are disconnected (or blow apart from) the sockets while the power is on. Power should always be disconnected before replacing bulbs, but sometimes they just fail on their own and short, causing them to "blow" like yours did. Also, be sure to avoid cheap bulbs, as we feel they have less chance of shorting and may hold up better.
