Re: Powers down

Next to NTE2973 mosfet fast speed transistor ,overby convergence plugins there will be small 2kv cap maybe 2 of them replace them. convergence problems replace STK-392-110s, REPLACE them with 180s,STK-392-180

Re: Powers down

This set is known for the deflection and convergence causing the set to shut down ,watch for clues as where to begin, inspect the neck boards also for arcing as well as the flyback trans former, listen for arcing upon shut down.

My samsung dlp turns on, then after 10-15 sec turns back off

It could be the temp sensor going bad. This sensor sits on top of the metal housing which the bulb assembly slides into. The bulb assembly will have a hole on top and this is where the sensor is above. There is a small blue and white wire that plugs into it. If you pull the wire out and put a paper clip or wire in the coupling you will basically bypass the sensor connecting the blue and white wire. If your tv turns on then that is your problem. Its cheap too. Here were my symptoms..1] Turn tv on 2] Bulb would light up..(which eliminates the ballast) regular picture would show up (which eliminates the bulb and color wheel) 3] 30 seconds later tv would shut down with 3 flashing lights. After bypass the tv turned on as always and hasnt shut down yet. Always un plug tv first. Get the replacement part to avoid overheating and possible fire

The TV keeps shutting off, then shortly after turns back on, then shuts off again... Plugging the cord into a different wall outlet doesn't solve the problem. Please help! Thank you

I'm having the same problem. My TV will play for for awhile and then it just dims down for about 1 to 2 minutes then powers up again. The green light stays on doesn't blink at all, and there is no red light that comes on or blinks like when our lamp went out. We replaced the lamp about 6 months ago and it's been working great until this week.

I replaced the lamp bulbs and the TV worked fine for awhile but shut off after about three days of use. I unplugged it and waited awhile to plug it back in the timer light blinked for awhile and then went...

While it is suspicious happening so soon after lamp replacement, your main power supply may have failed. In earlier sets, these were problems that eventually happened.

My tv keeps turning off. Sometimes I can turn it back on and it will work for awhile, other times it will turn off immediately.

your TV is going into protective shutdown most likely. Does the led blink when it shuts down? What is the model number of your set?

Mitsubishi WS48511 TV will not power on completely.

have you checked the pico fuses on the bottom side of the PC board? They are small ceramic fuses soldered directly to the runners. They have been known to blow and your set will not power up. Hope this helps, if you need anything further let me know. Also sometimes the 1000uf caps don't show any signs of swelling but can still be bad.

Tv problems

Unplug the three red-blue-green plugs nest to the convergence amps. If the unit powers up and stays on the picture will look bad but will confirm that the convergence amps have failed...
Replacing the amps and one or more resistors in the yoke return will restore the set to normal operation..
Use only Sanyo original Ics..
