Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera
When I turn on my camera I am unable to take pictures, but I am able to look at my pictures and error says Turn power off and on again.
It's stuck lens or focus. Contact your local Sony service center, but if they ask too much, you can contact me at email@example.com and I will give you a good price.
I work in Sony service center.

Camera needs to be serviced. This is a common problem with sony cameras. If you have any knowledge of electronic, you could take apart and clean and lube lens. If not sony will fix for a fee, go to the sony web site, they offer a repair service. This happened to mine, it cost $95 plus shipping costs to repair. Now it works great, for how long who knows.

This is probably THE single most common failure among digital cameras. There's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html
