THIS IS THE SITE YOU NEED TO VISIT ....YOU PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO BUY THE RECOVERY CD'S FROM THEM ....YOU MAY BY-PASS THAT AND GO TO A LOCAL COMPUTER REPAIR SHOP AND BUY A COPY OF THE OPERATING SYSTEM YOU HAVE FOR A FEW BUCKS AND THEN YOU MAY HAVE TO SEARCH FOR SOME OF THE DRIVERS , BUT A FAR CHEAPER OPTION . GOOD LUCK

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Need more information; Recovery CD will whipe out all data and reinstall everything.

If this is what you need to do, you need to contact Toshiba and ask them to send you a new Recovery CD explaining to them the old CD is damaged and unreadable.

They more than likely will charge you for the new recovery CD.

How do i restore my toshiba laptop with the recovery cd, where can i get the recovery cd

Recovery CD is saved as a recovery partition on the system, which needs to be written/burn onto the CD/DVD.
Steps to create a recovery disc (Insert a blank DVD in the CD/DVD rom) -
1. Click Start
2. Select All Programs
3. Select Recovery Disc Creator.
Recovery Disk Creator
4. Within the Recovery Disc Creator select Create

If you dont have the above options, you need to call the tech support and ask for the recovery disc & it will be shipped to you.

You don't get a CD with the Acer 5720, that I do know. ALT&F10 will restore to factory settings, as long as you know the administrator password!

Xp recovery

You need to download all the drivers installer files from manufacturer website first, and also all the software you want to install automatically with Windows. Then you build a Windows Xp boot CD with all the software setup embedded.

Acer Aspire 5720-6438 recovery cd/driver cd

if you need drivers, you can download it from www.acerpanam.com.
for recovery cd, i don't think acer have it online, you need to order it from them.

FYI, if you haven't delete the partition in your hdd, you can use alt+f10 to re-install your Operating system and after that, you can create your own recovery cd.

I'm not completely sure on what you are exactly asking here, but I'll do the best I can. If you have the Recovery CD, you need to boot from the CD and run the Recovery. When you go to do the recovery you will have two options, the normal recovery or the destructive recovery. If there is nothing important and everything can be wiped, run a destructive, but if you need everything run the other one. If you do not have a Recovery CD but have a Windows Vista disk that matches the version on your computer (IE: Windows Vista Home 32 bit is on your computer and you have a Windows Vista Home 32 bit disk) and you DO NOT need anything saved, just reinstall Windows. There is a product key for Vista on the sticker attached to your case. If you have neither, then you can probably get a new recovery disk by contacting HP (since they bought out Compaq). If you can not get a new Recovery CD, you will need to go out and buy a new copy of Windows Vista.
