I have a hlr5667W rear projection tv... when i turn it on, the lamp light blinks then no picture and then the tv turns itself off... what could be the problem?

Take out your Lamp and look at the front glass but DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS!!!. If you see shattered glass inside,you have a bad Lamp.
Look on the Left side of the set and you will see a Orange sticker. Record the Lamp Code as there several types for your set.

Any light blink on the front. Whats the voltage to the ballast from the power supply. Common problem on these sets are bad lamp door switch. Try shorting the switch. Color wheel also is problematic but usually will be noisy and cause shut down. Check power board for swollen capacitors. Hope this helps
