Question about RCA R52WH73 Projection Television
Replaced the FL231 fuse in our RCA 52" TV and it is still blowing
The solder joints are loose on the flyback transformer and that is what is most likely causing the fuse to keep blowing. Resolder the connections and replace the fuse and you should be good to go.

Sorry to hear about your problems with the RSA 52"
This unit has had its share of technical problems in the past.
1st. I have know way of knowing which fuse you have replaced, as their are several which handle limits for different section of the unit.
If you have replaced the main fuse in the power supply and you have not found why the fuse has blown, you are wasting your time in the attempt of repairs.
Example, you have changed the fuse in the power supply.
The problem may be in the audio circuit, which is in series with this supply.
If the audio circuit has a bad cap and it draws a over-limit current, or if the problem is in the vertical high voltage circuit, changing the Fuse will not repair the problem, in-fact will more than likely make it harder to diagnose later down the line.
Hope this information has been of some help.
