First disconnect and then reconnect the printer's power cable...Second, disconnect and reconnect the USB cable...third, restart your computer....if this does not solve the problem then I would removed the software from the computer, restart it and then reinstall the software from the CD...If you don't have the CD then go to this link to download the correct drivers and software:
