If you have an ANTI-VIRUS software installed on your computer try checking the firewall setting first or try disabling it for the meantime.
try going to the command prompt and try releasing your ip address then renew it again. ( on the command prompt type in ipconfig/release then wait for the confirmation ) ( after successfully releasing the ip address type in ipconfig/renew then wait for 3-5mins for the confirmation)
if these steps wont work try calling your router support or your internet provider for advance trouble shooting, they may need to reset your connection on that particular computer.
You dont need disc to configure...To access Belkin's web based setup page type 192.168.2.1 on the address bar of the browser. By default there is no password set for the router and you just simply click submit button to log on to router setup page
Click on Internet WAN and select the connection type you want. Wireless name (SSID) is the name of your wireless network. The most recommended wireless channel is 6. You can use wireless channel 1 and 11 to and scan for the network
I understand that you are facing trouble with the installation of the router as the CD does not work. Please perform the below steps to install the router without using CD:
1. Connect the cable/phone line coming from Internet Service Provider to the WAN port of the router(isolated port). 2. Connect the computer to the router using any one of the 4 available ports. 3. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari). 4. Access the router, usually by typing 'http://192.168.0.1' or 'http://www.routerlogin.com' in the address bar. 5. Login to the router (username = admin password = password unless you have changed it). 6. Click 'setup wizard'(at the top of list) from left menu. 7. Select yes and click next. 8. It should give you a "PPPoA Detected" and then click next. 9. Enter the login and password of ISP click apply. 10. Once the settings are updated click on 'router Status' and click on 'connection status' button(at the bottom of the page). 11. Click on connect button. 12. Connecting to server should show 'connected'. 13. If you receive 'CHAP authentication failed', close the 'connection status' window and click on 'Basic settings'. Check the login and password for ISP and apply the setting again. 14. Open up another browser window and try to access internet.

Any router will work, TCP/IP is a network standard, definately double check the cables. Your DSL modem is usually 192.168.254.254. and the router is usually 192.168.1.1. Check your documentation for the default IP. Once you know it type it in to the broswer in your Mac. Before doing so connect with an ethernet cable, purchase a new one if necessary. Connect from the <--> labeled port on the mac, or ethernet port. These wires are not like phone lines, they have 8 wires instead of 4/6. The router usually has ports on the back labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, and WAN. the 1-4 ports are LAN and that is also labeled on there. Plug the mac into port 1 and any other computers in after you get internet. once the physical connection is recognized. Go to your browser in the mac and proceed. if you get a web based router configuration page your router is working, then make the WAN connection to the ethernet port on the back of the dsl mode. Be sure your cables are good. Also go to your control panel and make sure your internet is enabled in your network section.
