On my SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player. I want to delete songs also but Media Player does not have complete list and also RealPlayer. Also, songs in alpha order on MP3 but jumbled on MediaPlayer and RealPlayer.

If the songs you know are on the player (you see and can play them) don't show up on the list of songs in Windows Media Player , the only way I could find to delete them was for 'format' the player. This wipes out all the files. You can then reload the songs you want.
This happened on my Sansa M240. Songs were on the player but wouldn't show up in the list of Windows media player.
To reformat, open 'My Computer' and right click on the Sansa M240 and select format. Leave it at FAT rather than FAT32.
It cleaned everything off and I had a fresh start to load songs.

Go to Windows Media Player under the Sync tab, over on the far left should be the name of the player, click on it and find the name of the song by album title, artist, or whatever, click on the title and click delete and you should be able to delete any song you like without deleting them all

Deleting unwanted songs

The Sansa M200 series devices do not allow deletion of downloaded content directly from the device. You must connect he device to PC/Mac via USB to delete downloaded content. You will also need to use media software such as Windows Media Player, Rhapsody, iTunes, etc.. to see all of the music content on the player to be able to delete the songs you don't want. (i.e. just viewing the device in Windows Explorer might not show everything that is on he player.)

How to delete songs off of my Sansa m240?

You need to connect it to a PC then it should show up as a removable storage device. You may then delete or copy tracks to is like any disk drive. If you are unsure how to do this then please comment. Hope this helps, plese rate my answer as better than thanks for trying.

The sansa has two USB modes. If you load tracks in one mode you have to be in the same mode to see them in explorer and also be able to delete them. Took me ages to figure this out. From the main menu, go to Settings then select USB and toggle between "MSC" and "Auto Detect". You should then be able to see the hidden tracks. I have firmware 2.2.5A installed so you might want to check that too.

I now only use the Sansa in MSC mode as it seems to crash Winamp if I use it in Autodetect.
