Bridge it. Should be marked on amp. According to specs should get u the power u need. Amp max 1500 watts. at 2 ohms. Speaker max is 2200 watts at 4 ohms. Turn amp down and adjust to your own taste. trust your ear man.

Wire 2 sub 4ohm

I am assuming these are subs, you didnt say, but that is my guess. do you want bass, or do you want to take it easy on your amp? do you have a terminal cup on your sub box, or just wires going into the box to the speakers? take it easy route: wire positive from amp to positive of one speaker, negative of amp to negative of the other speaker, with a jumper wire connecting the negative of the first speaker, to the positive of the second.
more bass route: run seperate positive and negative wires to each speaker, making sure to maintain proper polarity.

I have two audiobahn aw1206t 12in. subs in a box hooked to a 100.1 american bass amp its 1000 watt mono block. i also ran a capacitor due to my lights dimming. but for some reason my amp keeps kicking over...

This could be caused due to the impedance load being to low. Your amp is stable to 2 ohm load however its very possible that you have your subs wired to a 1 ohm load that would cause the amp to go into protect mode. The subs you have are dual 4 ohm voice coils and would need to be wired in series/parallel. I've included a link that will show you how the subs should be wired.

I have a pioneer 760watt model gm5100t amp and two audiobahn 12" subs and I would like to know how the wiring is configured from the amp to the subs as well as how the subs are wired since they are dual...

you bridge the inside + - and use the outside + -

then connect the outside + to the amp then connect the - to the + on the other sub then the - on the other sub to the amp just read this and do it slowly and you will get it then you only have to run the subs on a two channel amp

I have 2 kicker l7 12 dual voice coil subs.. i just friend a hifonics 1600w amp and am wondering if a kx 1200.1 kicker amp will be enough to power them they are 750w rms a piece .. can these be run at 1...

it all depends on the impendance of your subs if u have duel 4ohm or duel 2ohm, 2 duel 4ohm speakers can be wired at 1ohm to the amp, and with a kx1200.1 that would be pushin 2400 peak and 1200rms
if ya have 2 duel 2ohm speaker than you can only wire them to 2ohm and would be pushing 1200 peak and 600 rms with the kx1200, so if you have the duel 4ohm i would go with the kx1200.1 and if u have the duel 2ohm i would go with the hifoncs

Amp dosnt work right

your amp cant handle the impedance of your subs i.e your running a 2ohm sub on a 4ohm amp!

Change the wiring on the sub so instead of running at 2ohm your run at 4

if you need to know how to wire up your sub to run at 4 then take a look at this wiring diagram

take a look at option 2

Hope this helps if so please dont forget to rate :)

Help???

It's not really made to run a dual 2ohm sub. What you can do though is wire the sub like this:

we'll call you subs voice coil A and B. Wire it like this A's(+) to (+) on amp; then A's (-) to B's (+), then B's (-) to (-) on the amp. This is known as series / parallel wiring it will effectively make your amp see a 4ohm mono load.

What brand and model of amp do you have?
