The aerial antenna is not touching the little metal plate that gets signal. Probably got knocked loose when you dropped it. You have to open the phone up to confirm this but it should be the problem.

Are you able to test with a different SIM card? If that doesn't work either, it sounds like the antenna or radio portion has become wet and may still be wet within the hidden areas inside. This would either cause intereference with the signal going in and out, or may have resulted in permanent damage.

If a different SIM doesn't work, try taking it to a mobile phone repair shop to see how much it would cost to have them open the unit and check for faults.

Best of luck.

Warm regards

I have new for you the water has shorted out the receiver circuit (that is why the searching mode) in the phone, you will need to have it repaired or replaced, u are not going to get this phone to work again, water destroys a cell phone 100% of the time.

Hi there,

If your (bad) luck is holding, low-level circuits have been damaged by current from elsewhere, especially if trying to connect since this uses circuits capable of much higher power than the low-level ICs were intended to deal with.
Since it isn't working anyhow, try this:
Add a drop (not more) of dish detergent to a couple of quarts of warm distilled water - no product that has anything added to the water. Remove the battery from your phone, dunk it into the solution and swirl it a bit to ensure penetration of the solution.
Rinse it in distilled water only, shake out whatever you can without slamming against anything. Allow it to dry (battery compartment open) in any warm place such as a sunny railing, window sill, etc. for at least two days.
I have used this method successfully on a number of electronic items with good success.

Good Luck!!

Thanks

No reception on cell phone "No Network Service"

You need to check the RF. The RF is a component that pick up the signal. It is usually placed on the upper portion of the phone where there's a small exhaust so that the RF could pick up the signal better.

Once the RF gets wet, the component might become defective.

You need a phone tech to check or change the RF.

Have a great day!

No signal!

There is most likely corrosion from the water, or liquid on the mother board. It needs to be professionally cleaned if you want to have some functionality back. Best of Luck.
